Rock Island, IL - Rock Island Bank $5 Sep. 1, 1852 IL-705 G22. PCGS Very Fine 20 Apparent. A scarce, well-engraved series. Liberty and two other allegorical females support a shield showing a large "5" at top center, two Native Americans are at the lower right, and the imprint of Danforth, Bald & Co. is at the bottom. Noted by grading are: "Large Tape Repaired Internal Tear; Small Edge Split at Right." Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society, Heritage Auctions Internet Sale (5/2017).
