LaFayette, IN - Government Stock Bank $5 Oct. 2, 1852 Spurious Issue IN-300 S5, WVS 355-4. PCGS Very Fine 20. This "altered plate" style was used on several banks including one in Florida. Zachary Taylor is featured on this spurious issue with the Danforth, Bald & Co. imprint. The Capitol building is to the left, and the Michigan's Auditor's Office seal at is the far left.
