Bentonsport, IA - Town of Bentonsport $5 Aug., 1857 Oakes 8-3. PCGS Very Fine 35. This denomination is apparently rarer in the series. Minerva stands at the left, and Commerce sits at the right on this light green tinted municipal scrip note by Hosford & Co., New York. Crisp and well framed.
