Cedar Falls, IA - Town of Cedar Falls Post Note $1 Apr. 1, 1858 Oakes 22-1. PCGS Choice About New 58PPQ. This was a "Two Years From Date" post note issue that bore interest. Printed on white bond paper with the imprint of J.S. Baldwin at the bottom. An embossed seal is in the center. At the lower left is a Native American princess. At the upper right is a high bridge. These are Rarity-5 in Oakes, but this is a choice example. We sold a PCGS Choice New 63PPQ for $1,292.50 at our 2015 CSNS Sale. Ex: Eric P.
