Frankfort, KY - Farmers Bank of Kentucky $5 18__ KY-100 G220a, Hughes 255. Remainder. PCGS Choice New 63. This popular and colorful series was printed by the American Bank Note Company. The notes from the series were printed on four-subject sheets of the same denomination, plates A-D. This is the plate position C note. Oval portraits of Kentucky governor (1848-50) John J. Crittenden and his wife are below the curving red title, and a plowing vignette is at the upper left. Counter surround and FIVE protectors are in red, as is the back. Ex: Eric P.
