Lexington, KY - City of Lexington, Payable at Northern Bank of Kentucky $1 May 14, 1837 Hughes 426. PCGS Very Good 10. An odd note, without specific issuer title, but signed by the mayor. Justice and Liberty support a shield showing the denomination at top center. The imprint "J.C. Nobre & Co. Prs." is at the bottom. Printed on the backs of The Farmers and Mechanics Bank $1 notes and, in this case, showing horizontal details of the host note including a partial vignette. Ex: Eric P.
