Monroe, LA - Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas Railroad Company 50 Cents Jan. 13, 1862. PCGS Choice New 63 Apparent. This has a Gothic "B," and we are uncertain whether this indicates a plate position or a series. This type is printed on the back of first mortgage bonds. The early train is at the top and right end. Standing Ceres is at left. The payable in "circulating medium of Louisiana" clause is at the bottom. The signatures are different from those on the previous example.
