Monroe, LA - Vicksburg, Shreveport & Texas Railroad Company $5 Jan. 13, 1862. PCGS Very Fine 20. This higher denomination is in a larger format than the 50 cents notes and the $1 previous. Printed on the backs of bonds. The denomination FIVE DOLLARS is across with obligations. The ornate left end has a woman wearing a hat in the oval center, the right end has a perpendicular FIVE, and a green train vignette is across the top. The Gothic letter "f" is below each counter.
