New Orleans, LA -F. Ader, No. 465 Carondelet Street 50 Cents March 10, 1862. PCGS Very Good 8 Apparent. This is the second note from this New Orleans scrip note issuer we have cataloged from the Newman Collection. Printed on white paper with F. ADER at the top center. Obligations are across the center with a blue "50 Cts." protector. The textual denomination is within fancy cartouches at each end. The signature is strong. Noted as "Severed and Repaired; Pieces Missing; Edge Tears; Tape Repairs" by grading. Most of the note is present. Extremely rare.
