New Orleans, LA - R. Brauss & Co. $3 ND. PCGS Fine 12 Apparent. A rare New Orleans issuer. Printed on white paper without imprint. The style is similar to the McKeever scrip. A harbor scene is at top center and Washington is in the left shaded panel. In the right end a "3" is on a shield at the center of a vignette of commercial goods. Finely signed in red pen. Noted with a "Minor Stain at Right." We have handled only two notes from the series. Ex: Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society, Heritage Auctions Internet Sale (5/2017).
