New Orleans, LA - P. F. Herwig 25 Cents Undated (Ca. 1862). PCGS Very Good 8 Apparent. Extremely rare, and the first we have cataloged. A steamboat is in an oval at top center, and a sailor is in an oval at the center of the left panel. The right end has the textual denomination. In the fine print along the top edge are products sold by the merchant and the location on Adele Street. Noted with "Pieces Missing; Edge and Internal Splits and Tears; Tape Repairs."
