New Orleans, LA - Leeds & Co. 25 Cents Undated (Ca. 1862). PCGS Very Good 8 Apparent. Notes from the issuer are rare, and this is the first 25 cents note we have cataloged, There are two series known to us. This is printed by Douglas Eng., N. Orleans, with the imprint at lower right. Seated Vulcan is at top center. Standing Liberty is at the left end. There is a widely spaced blue "25" protector. The red countersignature is perpendicular on the face.
