Description | Colony of Connecticut March 8, 1764 20 Shillings Fr. CT-156. PCGS Choice About New 58PPQ. Extremely rare and in choice condition. Printed using the same style from this time period by Timothy Green II (Timothy Green, Jr. passed in 1763) on laid paper. Boldly printed and well margined on both sides. The angel head details on the back cartouche are exceptionally well rendered and deeply printed. Similar to the Boyd collection example (Ford Part III: Lot 555). This No. 682 example is the Newman plate note illustrated on page 108 of the fifth edition. The Boyd note realized $3,162.50 in May 2004. This note might be superior. Ex: Eric P.
