Description The seller found this coin and nine others among a lot bought at an auction house in Bloomfield, East Belfast on July 23rd this year. Because of the auction's location in a heavily Protestant area, he opined that they were likely stamped at one of the large industrial concerns known to have produced many such propaganda pieces. He thought likely from Mackie's Foundry. The workforce of these companies came mostly from neighborhoods such as Bloomfield. United Ulster is likely a reference to the United Ulster Unionist Party, a Northern Ireland political party (1975-1984). Purchased from Mark Henderson / Belfast, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland. (Ag. 5, 2020) ($2).
