A modern interpretation of this passage in the bible: "God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I'm walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way-the path that brings me back to you." This bible passage is struck heavily across the Queen's portrait and I believe is a plea for self-reflection. It's a not so gentle admonishment that she reflect on what she did or didn't do to influence a positive outcome on the conflict in her country. This from a Nationalist point of view.
