American Journal of Numismatics [First Series]
The American Journal of Numismatics (Series One), published from 1866 to 1870 by the American Numismatic and Archaeological Society, 1870-1907 by the Boston Numismatic Society and W. T. R. Marvin, and from 1907 to 1924 by the American Numismatic Society, acted as the standard bearer of American numismatics for many years. Although later issues are dominated by foreign and ancient content, the early and middle part of the run features American information found nowhere else.
Note: Sets of the American Journal of Numismatics were often assembled with several years bound in one volume. If you don't see the year you are looking for, check the closest preceding year.
